I was ecstatic when my client wanted to use a muted coral color to match the decor in her baby's room. I've been wanting to use this beautiful floral backdrop and it was perfect!
Babies have the absolute best expressions!

Hold closely the ones you love most.
It’s never too late to get gorgeous images of your baby. Although newborn pics are usually taken within the first two weeks of birth, I understand that babies or moms may have other priorities and concerns right after delivery. I am here for you and your baby when you are ready to capture those precious moments.
These parents are avid Trojan fans! USC is also my alma mater.
Jaxton is so cozy in this angora angora bear, bonnet, and wrap set. These hand-knit angora bear sets are always a favorite among clients.. They are a favorite of mine too! The angora gives off a fluffy halo adding softness to the texture of this image.
How cute is her little smile? This conifer green color is such a great and moody earth tone.
I enjoy shooting outdoors as much as I do in the studio. Sofia is posed in a truly vintage French zinc bucket. I prefer vintage items as props since they provide so much unique character, texture, and color to a set up and image. I love using organic handmade props too. This particular handspun blanket is made of all natural Icelandic Wool. There are so many variations in sheep breeds, color, and climates where the sheep roam that make each fleece different even from year to year. Nothing handmade is ever reproduced to look the exact same. I also tend to prefer daintier tiebacks which add a delicate touch to the baby's already small sized head which keeps the emphasis on the baby's face.
I was lucky in capturing a not-so-newborn baby asleep in a newborn pose. Newborn pics are usually taken within two weeks of birth and ideally between five to ten days old.
Beautiful Elisha has such a special place in my heart. She is the baby of my beloved nanny that took care of my first born. It's nice to see her married now with a growing family of her own.
Green is one of my favorite colors. The Felted Curly Wool Layer, Textured Knit Brushed Alpaca Blanket, Angora Bonnet, and Felted Wool Hearts pair perfectly with the foliage of the Sage plant and add to the organic nature of this composition along with the Vintage Bamboo Crate and Rustic Burlap beneath it. I truly love incorporating real/lifelike plants whenever possible.
